Backround
The Bay of Pigs Invasion occured in 1961. It took place in Cuba and lasted for about 2 days ( April 17th to April 19th.) The reason it was called Bay of Pigs Invasion is becuase it mostly took place on the Bay of Pigs which is a Bay in Cuba. About 1,400 Cuban exiles landed at Playa Giron and Playa Larga 2. The Invasion for Cuba Intended to over throw the regime of Fidel Castro but it failed. Over all, the Bay of Pigs invasion wasnt very successful. Both sides( Cuba and the U.S) got people taking in the captive, also they both had gotten their solider shot and lost various lives.
History
The history in Cuba is very interesting. It is in the Caribbean Sea South of Florida . Cuba was discorved in 1492 by Columbus. Setteled by the Arawak's. Later on, it became more of a civilized place, more people started coming to Cuba and it started to become a well known place. Then people started Importing and exporting goods. On the other hand, U.S.A had developed very nicely and became on of the most well know countries in the world! Both Cuba and the U.S became successful as the year went on.

This is really interesting. I've never heard of a war that only lasted 2 days. The way you wrote it, I think, is insightful and full of information. Do you personally think of Cuba as a good place?

like the comment above, i have never heard of this war. It has a pretty cool name if i may say so myself. I like how you put the date first because it sets a tone because you know when it was and you can make some guesses about how the war went on, what guns were used, and more.

Sputnik and Eichman, there were a few wars like this in the past. One example would be the Invasion of Grenada. That was a battle that lasted about a week in the south Caribbean Sea on the Island of Grenada. The war was also fought by the Cubans and Americans but thankfully the Americans pushed out the Cubans, oh and this war happened in 1983 if I'm correct. By the way good job on your slide.
